Terms of service
These terms govern your use of indoaryan.com and the ancestry analysis service sold through it. The service is operated by 5ChAGI.AI Corp, a company registered in British Columbia, Canada, trading as Indo-Aryan. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. WHAT WE SELL
We sell a single, one-time analysis: a qpAdm ancestry decomposition of one raw genotype file that you provide. You receive a report containing the fitted model, the ancestry weights, and their standard errors. This is not a subscription and it renews nothing.
2. WHAT THE SERVICE IS NOT
This is a research-grade population-genetics analysis. It is not a medical, diagnostic, health, paternity, forensic, or legal service. It does not identify disease risk, carrier status, relatives, or parentage, and it must not be used for any of those purposes. Nothing we deliver is medical advice.
Ancestry modelling describes statistical relationships between your genome and reference populations. It does not establish nationality, ethnicity, community membership, caste, religion, or any entitlement, and we do not issue certificates of ancestry or origin.
3. YOUR FILE, AND WHAT YOU PROMISE US
You must upload only a raw autosomal genotype file that is your own, or one you are legally entitled to submit and have authority to have analysed. Uploading another living person's genetic data without their informed consent is a breach of these terms and we will refuse and delete it.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you upload. We analyse the file we receive.
4. WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR FILE
Your file is stored encrypted, used solely to produce your report, never sold, and never shared with third parties for their own purposes. It is deleted automatically 30 days after upload. You may request earlier deletion at any time. We do not add your data to any reference panel unless you separately and explicitly opt in.
5. RESULTS, AND THE POSSIBILITY OF REFUSAL
We publish our acceptance test before purchase. Two outcomes are possible and both are stated on the product page.
If your file cannot be read as a usable autosomal genotype, no analysis is performed and you are refunded in full.
If your file is readable and the fitted model returns ancestry proportions outside 0-100%, the model does not describe your ancestry. That is a genuine analytical result, it is delivered to you as your report, and it is not refunded.

6. NO GUARANTEE OF A PARTICULAR RESULT
You are buying an analysis, not an outcome. We do not promise that your results will match your expectations, your family history, another testing service, or any prior report. Reference panels and methods change as published research changes; a later analysis may differ from an earlier one, and neither is thereby wrong.
7. TURNAROUND
We aim to deliver within 24-48 hours of a successful upload. This is a target, not a guarantee. If we fail to deliver within a reasonable period we will re-run the analysis or refund you in full, at your choice.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Your report is yours. You may publish, quote, and share it freely, including commercially. We ask only that you do not present modified figures as our output. Our site content, methods documentation, and software remain ours.
9. LIABILITY
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for decisions you take on the basis of a report, including any personal, familial, financial, or legal consequence.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law.
10. ACCEPTABLE USE
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, submit files designed to exploit it, upload data you have no right to, or resell the service as your own without a written agreement with us.
11. CHANGES
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published at the time you place your order.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. This does not deprive you of protections available under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
